How are suppliers verified?
Suppliers undergo identity and business verification before accessing the marketplace. BreakerQuote reviews business credentials to ensure legitimate distributors.
What condition types are available?
New (factory sealed), Surplus (new overstock, never installed), and Used (pulled, tested). You specify your preferred condition when posting an RFQ.
Can I source obsolete or discontinued circuit breakers?
Yes. Many BreakerQuote suppliers specialize in hard-to-find, obsolete, and discontinued breakers. Post your part number and the supplier network will search their inventory.
How does the award process work?
Once you receive quotes, compare them side by side. Tap Award on the best offer. The supplier is notified and you coordinate delivery directly. Your identity stays private throughout.
Are surplus circuit breakers safe?
Surplus breakers from reputable suppliers are tested and come with documentation. Always confirm condition and ask for test records before installation.
What is an MCCB vs. an MCB?
An MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) is typically up to 125A for residential use. An MCCB (Molded Case Circuit Breaker) is a larger industrial device up to 2500A+ with adjustable trip settings.
Does BreakerQuote ship internationally?
BreakerQuote is primarily a US marketplace, but individual suppliers may offer international shipping. Specify your delivery location when posting your RFQ.
