BreakerQuote ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you use our platform at breakerquote.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and company name. Suppliers may also provide additional business details such as a phone number, address, and product categories served.
When you submit a Request for Quote (RFQ), we collect details about the parts you are sourcing, including manufacturer part numbers, quantities, required conditions, and any notes you provide. This information is shared with suppliers for the purpose of generating quotes.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. BreakerQuote does not store your full credit card number or banking details. Stripe handles all payment processing under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards. We retain records of your subscription plan, billing cycle, and transaction history.
We automatically collect data about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, search queries, session duration, and device and browser information. This data is collected in aggregate and used to improve the platform.
We use cookies and local storage tokens to maintain authentication sessions and gather analytics. See Section 7 for more detail on cookies.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
When you submit an RFQ, we share the relevant RFQ details with suppliers who are matched to your request. This includes part specifications and your company name. Your personal email address is not shared directly with suppliers unless you choose to include it in your RFQ notes or initiate direct contact through the platform.

Anonymous or aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase Authentication for session management, and restricted access controls for internal systems.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.
